*DROP IT IN THE PAYMENT DROPBOX IN THE BREEZEWAY;
*CREDIT CARD (ONLINE ONLY AT THIS TIME)

*PAY IN PERSON DURING REGULAR OFFICE HOURS (TO TREASURER OR DEPUTY TREASURER ONLY).

The Treasurer collects taxes every Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 4:00 pm – excluding holidays listed on the township website.

Summer payments are due and payable: July 1st through September 16th to be interest free; after 9/16, 1% is added to balance each month beginning on 9/17.
Summer Office Hours for tax payments on 9/16 are 9am - 5pm

CHECKS:
*Make sure checks are payable to Silver Creek Township; are written for the exact amount of your tax bill; are signed and dated (no post dated checks).
*Include the top portion of your tax bill to verify your parcel# (also on check)
*Post-dated or unsigned checks, will not be deposited and may be returned.

*If your mortgage company has requested a copy of your tax bill, it has been mailed to them. You are receiving a copy for your records per State requirements.

SUMMER DEFERMENT
Taxpayers may defer their summer property tax until 2/14 IF they meet the following criteria:
• Has a total gross household income of $40,000 or less for the preceding tax year, and
• Is totally and permanently disabled, blind, paraplegic, hemiplegic, quadriplegic, or
• Is an eligible serviceperson, eligible veteran, or eligible widow or widower, or
• Is at least age 62.
NOTE: A deferment of summer taxes allows the summer taxes to be paid on or before February 14th without any additional penalty and interest.

Sewer payments

Sewer payments must be separate from any tax payments.
